Theresia's Orphans and Vulnerable Children Foundation
Theresia’s Orphans and Vulnerable Children Foundation assists orphans and vulnerable children in the Mavanze village rural area, 12km from Rundu, the regional capital of the Kavango. Some of the children have lost parents due to various illnesses and some have parents who are unemployed and struggling to support and raise their children.
In 2015 approximately 215,000 Namibians lived with HIV / AIDS. In a country with a high degree of poverty, life with the condition is a challenge that calls to all to provide assistance. Orphans and vulnerable children are most affected. Often raised by grandparents of other caregivers, they need every bit of support they can get.
The Kavango is one of the poor regions of Namibia, and some of the children are among those most in need of support. Theresia’s Foundation has set out to help as many children as it can, but it needs your support to do so. Find out more about the Foundation here. Your help will improve the lives of the children we care for.
Theresia’s Orphans and Vulnerable Children Foundation is a registered non-profit organization. (Reg. WO 267)
